The Gamification Template – Achieving Business Objectives Through Games

I had an opportunity to participate in a  delightful workshop by the wonderful folks at Ozma. I am reproducing their blog, and most importantly, including a simple gamification template they have devised. Gamification is an excellent way to bring about changes in team behavior in an organization. It could be as simple as employees not switching on the lights when they are not using a room, or sales team not updating the CRM to record their day to day activities, or geared towards productivity improvement or even innovation.

“We’ve done a lot of lecturing and workshops lately, and become more and more aware of the importance of having hands on tools to work with. So, for the subject of gamification, we’ve now developed a tool for that – it goes by the name “Gamification Implementation Chart”! This is version 1.0, and we’ll use it during a workshop on Stanford University on the 7th of November. Feel free to download and use it for your own projects!”
